Relay for Life Benefit Trail Ride at Avalon Plantation. Guests will
ride in a unique setting of wooded trails on the plantation, complete
with a snack break and lunch. Come join the fun and fellowship. Early
registration is a $15 donation per person, on the day of the ride a
$20 donation is requested. The cost will include lunch and door prizes. The
ride starts PROMPTLY at 10 a.m., allow yourself plenty of time to arrive,
unload, and saddle up. Gates will open at 8 a.m. and will close at 9:45
a.m. The ride will be approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours in length over
easy, wooden terrain suitable for all riders and horses. To register

Jefferson Arts will hold a board meeting 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the second
Saturday of the month at the gallery. Jefferson Arts is opened free
to the public 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays, or by appointment.
The Gallery is located at 575 West Washington Street in Monticello.

Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers (MOP) will meet 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the third
Tuesday of months September through May at the First United Methodist
Church. This program is geared toward early pregnancy to kindergarten
mothers. And, will offer a light breakfast, speaker, and a Christian-based
program with topics such as CPR training, love language in the family,
and etc. There will also be creative activities just for moms. A childcare
will be provided… volunteers are needed to sit and play with the children.
