Clare Brown is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art, and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida State University. Clare began working with Big Bend Hospice at the Margaret Z. Dozier Hospice House in 2009. In 2012, she transferred to the BBH South Team, providing services to patients and families in Leon County. Clare was the recipient of the Big Bend Hospice, Elaine C. Bartelt Award for Counseling Excellence in 2015, and has recently transferred to the Bereavement Team as a Grief Support Counselor. In this role, Clare provides services to Big Bend Hospice and community bereaved individuals and families in Leon, Jefferson, Madison, and Taylor Counties. Outside of work, Clare enjoys spending time with friends and family, her two pugs, and getting creative with do-it-yourself projects.
